About Lizette Volkwyn — Transformational Life Coach,

International Keynote Speaker & Author

Every story has crossroads. Mine began with the same doubts, setbacks, and fears that so many of us face. But what I discovered along the way is this:

Vulnerability isn’t weakness — it’s the birthplace of transformation.

Today, I stand not as someone with all the answers, but as a companion on the journey — a Transformational Life Coach, International Keynote Speaker, Master NLP Practitioner, and Human Behaviour Specialist who has spent more than two decades helping leaders, teams, and individuals rediscover their courage, authenticity, and voice.

My role isn’t just to remind you of that truth; it’s to help you feel it, claim it, and live it.

I know the weight of standing at a crossroads — wondering if change is even possible or if the spark inside has gone out for good.

Over the years, I’ve sat across from people who felt invisible, broken, or overwhelmed by life, and I’ve witnessed the moment they found their way back. Not through magic, but through one choice, one action, one courageous step at a time.

I’ve seen the light return to their eyes, the strength return to their voice, and the belief in who they are reignite with fire. And that transformation? It’s not reserved for someone else. It’s waiting for you too — right here, right now.

Because transformation doesn’t begin somewhere “out there.” It begins the moment you choose yourself. And when you do, I’ll be right here to walk beside you — believing in you until you believe in yourself.

The greatest transformation begins with the smallest decision:

to believe that you are worth it.

If you’re ready to explore what’s possible — through keynotes,

self-discovery workshops, coaching, or my books — I’d love to connect.

This is ME

I’m often introduced by my titles — Transformational Life Coach, International Keynote Speaker, Master NLP Practitioner, and one of only two PEI-certified Human Lie Detection Specialists in South Africa. And yes, those qualifications and recognitions matter.

They’ve opened doors to global stages, leadership teams, and communities across more than 20 countries.

But the truth is, they’re not who I am. They’re the tools I carry.

What defines me is my mission: to walk beside people — leaders, teams, and individuals — as they strip away the noise, rediscover their values, and step back into the strength they thought they had lost.

It’s why I write books like Finding Me, Decode Deceit, and Triumph in Vulnerability — so that even if you never sit in one of my workshops or hear me on a stage, you still have access to the tools and stories that can help you find your own way forward.

Along the way, I’ve been honored with awards such as Transformational Life Coach of the Year 2025 (South Africa) and recognized by organizations like YPO, where my keynote earned a 9.7/10 rating for impact and transformation.

But those accolades only remind me of this: the work I do is not about me. It’s about the people whose lives shift, whose voices grow stronger, and whose courage carries them into a future they once thought was out of reach.

Because at the heart of it all, my role isn’t to stand above you — it’s to stand with you.

Rooted in Community, Driven by Purpose

Alongside my global work, I stay grounded in the communities that shaped me. I am an active member of the South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) and honoured to once again serve as a judge for AfriForum’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards—a role that allows me to celebrate the courage and innovation of South African entrepreneurs.

👉 If you’re an entrepreneur ready to step into that spotlight, I invite you to enroll here before 29 September 2025.

Giving back is not a side note in my journey—it’s a responsibility I carry with joy. Whether through pro bono work, supporting fundraisers, or partnering with charities, I believe that true success is measured by how much light we spark in others.

One of the most humbling experiences in my journey was being invited to share my keynote “Bloom Where You Are Planted (for NOW)” at a church in the community where I grew up. What stayed with me that day wasn’t the stage or the message—it was the incredible women in that room. Their unwavering support for one another, their dedication, and their collective strength reminded me of the true meaning of community. I left feeling blessed, deeply grateful, and inspired by the way they uplifted one another with such authenticity and grace.

As I watched them share their stories and cheer each other on, I was reminded that growth is never a solo journey—it is nurtured in the spaces where people stand together, shoulder to shoulder, even in the toughest of times. That gathering was more than an event; it was a testament to resilience, to faith, and to the quiet power of women who choose to rise by lifting each other.

It was a moment that anchored me again in the values I hold dearest: gratitude, humility, and the belief that no matter where life takes us, the strength of community will always shape our path.

The Power Behind the Wings:

Why the Hummingbird Matters

When I was searching for a symbol that could carry the heart of my work, I didn’t want something loud or predictable. I wanted something that told a story. The hummingbird found me in that search.

At first glance, it looks small, almost fragile. But anyone who has ever watched a hummingbird knows better. It beats its wings up to 80 times per second. It travels thousands of kilometers on migration — further than its size should ever allow. And it does it with a grace that makes you stop, look up, and believe that the impossible might just be possible.

That’s what transformation feels like. We look at ourselves and think, “I’m too small, too tired, too broken to keep going.” Yet, like the hummingbird, we all carry a strength that surprises us the moment we put it into motion.

For me, the hummingbird is not just a logo. It’s a daily reminder of resilience, agility, and joy — of what it means to rise above limitations and keep moving, no matter how heavy the air feels.

And that’s why I chose it. Because every time someone sees the hummingbird, I want it to be more than just my logo — I want it to feel like an invitation. A reminder that no matter where you are in your journey, you, too, carry the strength to rise above challenges, to adapt with courage, and to keep moving toward the life you dream of.

The hummingbird whispers: you are stronger than you think, braver than you know, and more capable than you ever imagined.
